Hi there. Thanks for visiting my profile. I am an an integrated counsellor and work with adults, children, and young people. I have over ten years experience working with children and families in school-based counselling and in private practice. My hope is to provide all my clients a safe space to explore their issues and provide families the support and understanding they need to overcome difficulties. I have worked as a project manager for Place2be, a UK wide organisation that specialises in working therapeutically with children and young people and their families.
I have worked for various counselling organisations that specialise in CYP work, such as Jigsaw and UHub Belfast. I am passionate about ensuring my clients get the best from their sessions and with CYP this always includes supporting and advising parents of strategies and interventions that will help support their child or young person at home and in school.
I have had great success working with clients to help with emotional regulation and feel this is a strength in my therapeutic practice. I am also qualified and experienced with working within adoption to support young people moving into or within their new families and also support adoptive parents transitioning into their new roles.
