I have had extensive experience in working with Adult & Adolescent clients experiencing anxiety, low self esteem , depression, trauma.
Often we feel we cannot share issues with family or friends, for fear of impacting these relationships or attempts at being rescued, where all we need is to be listened to. Often we are experiencing emotional turmoil, doubt , guilt, fear or sadness to the point we perceive ourselves as carrying the burden alone. This is the opportunity for you to be heard, to explore and consider solutions and new possibilities for the future in a non-judgemental and collaborative therapeutic relationship. We can explore the past, the present or we can explore future plans and/or work on solutions to current problems.

Hi I'm Carole, thanks for checking out my profile. I have always been interested in people, how we all experience our world, and how life events affect us. I understand that we can have difficulties with thoughts, feelings, circumstances and relationships leading to confusion, low self esteem , lack of confidence, stress and difficulty coping with life. The effects of the Covid 19 pandemic have resulted in more stressful situations, with less effective coping skills, due to isolation, bereavement, fear and lack of opportunity to look after our mental health as we previously did. I understand your experience is unique to you.

Counselling is beneficial for many mental health concerns: grief, anxiety, depression, realtionships, low self esteem , trauma etc.
I am an Intergrative Therapist who has been practicing in both private and community sectors since 2015. I am origianlly from South Australia and Belfast has been my home for 12 years now. I believe that self awreness and happiness are not a finial destination and toxic positivity takes us further from who we are. We can become stuck in what has happened to us (depression) or fear what may happen to us (anxiety). Tabula Rassa means clean slate "Where there is nothing, there is the possibility of everything". That slate exists in the present moment and by exploring what your life means to you, you can create a meaningful life.

In my experience, people seek counselling for a variety of reasons ranging from crisis to personal development. The counselling relationship is unique, separate from the rest of life and offers a confidential space to explore and understand your relationship with yourself and others. My practice is anchored by the belief that we are all fundamentally ok and we all have the capacity for change and growth.

I am particularly experienced supporting people with work, family and childcare issues, self esteem issues, sex and relationship difficulties, immigration issues, identity issues and sexual orientation issues, gender identity issues.
I'm interested in people - who we are, where we are and how we got here. It helps to talk about ourselves, our experiences and our feelings in order to understand who we are. I offer a safe and non judgmental space where you can do this. Together we will endeavour to work out why you have arrived at a point in your life that may be causing you difficulty, or why you may be feeling stuck. Counselling can give you an opportunity to examine how you can change and improve your current situation.

Self Esteem Counsellors
Self-esteem lives on a spectrum: Not enough self-regard (or low self esteem) can lead people to become depressed, or to tolerate abusive situations and relationships. Too much self-love (or high self-esteem), results in an off-putting sense of entitlement and an inability to learn from failure. And it's occasionally a sign of clinical narcissism. Quite the opposite of being shy or shyness, yet still on the same spectrum. Equally, to lack confidence or lacking confidence is common amongst teens: child self esteem issues can be helped with self esteem support groups in Belfast and therapists' support dealing with self esteem.

If you're looking for help with self esteem in Belfast or for a Belfast self esteem counsellor, these professionals provide therapy for self esteem. They include self esteem counsellors in Belfast, self esteem psychologists, self esteem psychotherapists and self esteem therapists in Belfast. They can help with counselling for self esteem in Belfast or self esteem counselling and treatment for self esteem.
