After experiencing difficult personal circumstances, I learned that it takes courage to engage with counselling; I was empowered to heal and to live life to the full again through counselling and I am committed to helping others do the same.
As we are all unique, I offer an integrative counselling approach to meet individual client needs and can offer flexible sessions. I have gained a wealth of experience working with diverse clients across the UK and Ireland and have a special interest in bereavement, ADHD and in trauma and promoting post-traumatic growth. I believe a strong, therapeutic relationship with my clients is key, as is providing a safe, supportive and nurturing environment to facilitate change and growth.

Many of my clients are high-performing professionals, leaders, and women in business who carry significant responsibility while privately managing stress, anxiety, neurodiversity, or the emotional impact of major life experiences and transitions.
My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR and Schema Therapy. Alongside therapy, I integrate executive coaching principles to help clients think clearly, manage pressure effectively, and maintain high performance without compromising their wellbeing.

Initially we would deeply examine your issues, and together make a plan to address them in various ways that help you get your life back on track.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety/panic, stress, depression, trauma, often related to relationships or family, or physical illness, I offer a safe space, using a wide range of treatment types, working out with each client what would be most helpful, in both Western therapies such as CBT and DBT, couples therapy and Eastern energy/body work which can work together holistically towards healing both body and mind. We would initially explore what brought you to therapy and decide what would help most to make a sustained improvement in your feelings, your thinking, and all aspects of your physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Life Coaching Counsellors
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
