Time4Hope has been established during my 18 years of working with parent/carers who have children/young people with Complex, Profound, Autistic and Life Limited Disabilities. My goal during counselling is to reduce the severe distress often experienced by parents, when trying to meet their children's high and challenging needs. Counselling can identify the causes of pressures and develop new strategies to build stronger resilience. I also counsel children and adults with a range of struggles such as low-self esteem and confidence. Together we will explore the experiences that have created this and undo unhelpful patterns.
During the counselling process I am able to offer you the safe space to make positive changes to your life. This may include developing better self-care so you able to attend to the complex needs of your child. Counselling will also enable you to feel more empowered through acquiring new skills such as assertiveness and confidence to deal with
I am empathic and will and support you to unravel and navigate you to find positive solutions to your hurt and difficulties. This will prevent you from feeling stuck and allow you to move forward to embrace challenges and new opportunities. The sessions will allow you the calmness you desire to explore how you want to direct your life.
