As a qualified children and young persons therapist, I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for the client in order to explore and understand the issues and challenges that they face. A strong therapeutic relationship and understanding underpins my practice. I am an integrative counsellor which allows for me to provide a tailored approach for each individual, which will guide intervention and allow for the client to work toward therapeutic goals such as coping strategies, self esteem and emotional literacy.

My approach consists of CBT, person centred therapy, play therapy I am also trauma informed. I work with issues such as anxiety, social anxiety, school refusal, depression, divorce/separation, transitions and abuse. I am passionate in supporting young people in the challenges that they face in their lives by teaching coping strategies and tools to help them.

I work with clients who may be struggling with a number of issues. The initial sessions will be spent building trust, discussing therapeutic goals and exploring what is going on for them.
