Hello my name is Nicola, thank you for taking the time to read my profile. In our busy lives it is often difficult to allocate time solely for ourselves, to gift to ourselves the opportunity to explore what may be hurting or limiting us. In essence what may be stopping us from living full and enjoyable lives. Choosing to enter therapy, to allow yourself the time to be listened to and heard without judgement is to choose a powerful and rewarding gift. Working together in a way that is comfortable for you, I offer a safe, compassionate and non judgmental space, that allows you to give yourself the permission to explore your feelings.
I offer weekly sessions in person/telephone/online counselling. I hold a level 5 diploma in person centred counselling. Working in the here and now using an integrated approach to therapy designed specifically to you. I don't believe “one size fits all”. I am also a trained somatic trauma therapist helping with PTSD anxiety and calming the nervous system.
I have expertise working with survivors of Narcissistic Abuse, whether that is in romantic, family or workplace relationships. I am familiar with 12 Step Recovery for drug, alcohol, love, sex, and food addictions and Co Dependency. I am also familiar with Adult Children of Alchoholic and Dysfunctional Families and IFS ( internal family systems).
