I’m Nicola, I work with individuals and couples trying to make sense of change in their lives. Change may be a natural part of human life, but it can be difficult to figure out what happens next when suddenly something new occurs. The emotional effects of traumatic life events can knock you off balance influencing the way you think and feel about yourself now and in the future. I hope to help people make sense of the emotional impact of life events and how they influence day to day emotions. Therapy gives you the time and place to process the difficult events in your life.
It's hard to ignore that feeling in the pit of your stomach when you notice changes in the way you feel about your life, relationship, confidence or self esteem. Trying to understand what happened to create distance between you and people you care about can feel exhausting and confusing. Therapy can help you reconnect with others and yourself .
