I work in a Person-centred way which means the session is all about you.
Whatever you feel like discussing or exploring it's your choice. I also offer EMDR therapy for clients who have experienced shock or trauma. I work with adults and young people aged between 15 and 18. I work with a wide range of issues including: trauma, abuse, relationship problems, self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression, anger, shame, personality disorders, health anxiety, grief/loss, ADHD, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, work-related issues, health anxiety and more.
I have a lot of experience working with trauma and abuse. This can sometimes be longer term but the benefits and rewards are life changing. You are in complete control of your sessions. I also offer a space for EMDR . A fantastic treatment for clients to work through things like shock/trauma, abuse, anxiety, addiction, grief, and complex grief.
Counselling can improve your self-esteem, communication skills and support you through challenging times and/or changes that may be happening. It also builds your self-awareness, self-confidence, resilience and allows you to recognise your inner strengths. It is so beneficial.
