Hello and a warm welcome! I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years experience working both in the NHS and in private practice. I have worked with both adolescents who struggle to talk, to adults with a wide range of mental health problems, and couples with relationship difficulties. I am trained in several therapies that I will tailor to your unique needs. It can feel very daunting trying to find the right therapist for your needs and I therefore offer you a free 30 minute Zoom meeting or phonecall to meet with me to put you at ease and to see if I am the right person who can help.
I have experience in working with a wide range of difficulties from anxiety disorders to low mood/self harm and depression. My particular area of expertise is in trauma and working with adults who have had childhood histories of abuse/neglect. I am also experienced in working with clients who present with perinatal difficulties.
No-one can fully understand what it feels like to experience the stresses that you are currently going through. I offer an empathic, compassionate and collaborative approach helping you work through your current difficulties. I am trained in various therapies and will offer you a bespoke treatment plan that will address your particular needs.
