As a counsellor, I provide a safe and confidential environment, where emotions, thoughts, and reactions can be explored. We look at the benefits of change and improved communication. I work with several presenting issues. I specialise in supporting those who wish to rebuild significant relationships. Our relationships are fundamental in how we see ourselves. My initial training was in psychodynamic counselling, working with young people and adults. In recognising how relationships impact on our thoughts, personality, and behaviour, led me to further my studies in Systemic Therapy, working with Relate and Tavistock Relationships.
I am a qualified psychodynamic and Systemic counsellor. I have also had the opportunity to gain an understanding of Mentalization Therapy whilst working with Tavistock Relationships and Relate. In my work with clients, I have learnt the importance of curiosity, as all clients hold the answers within themselves. Enabling clients to form a new life script.
I hold immense value in the therapeutic relationship. Creating a space of empathy and understanding. In this safely held environment the aim is for you to discover the parts of yourself that have become hidden, lost, or undiscovered. Enabling you to develop a better understanding of yourself.
