Hi my name is Nicky Martin and I am a friendly professional BACP registered Child & Young Person Counsellor located in Saltburn by the Sea and Stokesley and easily accessible for children and young people coming from the surrounding areas of Teesside and North Yorkshire. I am experienced in helping pre-teen and young people who have experienced personal difficulties, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, home insecurity, feelings of loss, grief and bereavement, trauma, child traumatic grief, problems with family or school life, self-harm, and with neuro-divergent young people with ASD & ADHD.
I am available for face-to-face Child and Young Person Counselling on both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon and evening at Connect2Education, Stokesley
I offer a safe, protected space in-person and I use creative play approaches that enable young people to naturally express themselves creatively. This helps them to find out about themselves by connecting to their emotions and making sense of the issues they are facing.
The foundation of my work is a warm relational approach that enables a young person to progress at their own pace. If your young person is struggling then please get in touch. I offer a 15-minute initial phone call or email by using the contact page on my website.
