I am a UKCP-registered attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist. I have twenty years experience working as a psychotherapist in Walthamstow, North East London with adults in individual one-to-one therapy.I am also a supervisor, teacher, lecturer and training therapist. I offer therapy face-to-face in person at my practice or on the telephone and via encrypted video-conferencing facilities. Some of my speciality areas include lifestage-related decision making, relationships, siblings, anxiety, fertility and workplace difficulties, body confidence and body shame.
I am an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist whose aim is to build trust, restore hope and promote growth within a secure therapy relationship. By developing a secure trusting attachment with a therapist, over time this experience can become a crucible within which we can understand, process and come to terms with your difficulties.
This is not always an easy process as it can sometimes be painful and take a long time but gradually by carefully listening, reflecting on and working issues through differently in a secure empathic context we hope to create the catalyst for positive change.
