I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 27 years experience. Everyone is unique, and has different life circumstances that need to be understood. I offer an individual approach which is tailored to each individual client. My therapeutic style is warm, empathic and supportive, and I have a significant amount of life experience and professional expertise that enables me to understand and empathise with each client's difficulties and the problems they are struggling with.
I use the latest evidence based treatments to help people with a wide range of difficulties, and I have a further specialist training in CBT. I can use a more structured approach such as CBT or a more explorative therapeutic discussion drawing on my psychological knowledge and skills to help each client get a better understanding of their difficulties.
Central to my practice is transparency and openness, and in my work I emphasise building all important trust for a strong therapeutic relationship. Overall, it is important to me to provide a service that is high quality, evidence based and effective at helping you live the life you want.
