Alongside general counselling and therapy, I specialise in treatment for and recovery from addiction, I'm also a front-line drug and alcohol counsellor spending part of my time working within a residential rehabilitation clinic. Whatever it is you do more of than you would like to be doing and is causing you distress, loss or problems, I can offer help.
I believe each person has their own inherent resources and potential for change and growth. A good counselling relationship helps to activate that potential by the counsellor and client working together. I take a relational approach to my work, which means we might talk about what is happening in the relationship between us, as this can prove very useful.
