About
I am an accredited, registered and insured counsellor and psychotherapist and provide a warm, non judgemental and grounded presence, in a respectful and confidential space. As a humanistic and integrative therapist, I recognise your individuality in a holistic and positive sense, together with your potential for change. I also see how acknowledging pain or difficulties in the past allows repair in the present. With exploration and understanding, this can lead to greater personal and interpersonal awareness and functioning. Enabling this, I have strong belief in the trusting therapeutic relationship we can create.
Gaining my degree at The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute, Nottingham provided extensive personal and professional training, for safe, ethical practice. I practiced at Mind for 3 years and for a local organisation with male survivors of sexual abuse for 6 years.
I have a private, light, welcoming room in central Lutterworth, with good parking close by, offering appointments Monday to Saturday. I provide a free, friendly, no obligation initial meeting, where we can look at your needs and how we can work together.
