Hi, my name is Nick and I am a queer-identifying, non-binary Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist. Making the choice to seek out counselling can be a hard step in its own right, having to then find a counsellor you feel safe with when going through some of your most difficult moments can be very daunting. I work with adults on a wide range of issues surrounding identity, gender, sexuality, relationship diversity, (GSRD), self-worth and self-esteem, stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, work and workplace stress.
I will offer you a confidential safe space that is non-judgmental and anti-oppressive allowing you to work through any issues you might bring. With the person-centred approach, it is you who has the ability to work towards resolving issues whilst given the support of genuine acceptance and empathic understanding of the therapeutic relationship.
Your reasons for seeking counselling can be well known to you but sometimes it can be as vague as knowing something feels wrong but not knowing what or why. Talking about these feelings can help bring them into focus and enable us to work together through these difficult times.
