I'm an experienced therapist and also a supervisor to other therapists and an assessor for student counsellors.
I work with adults who are finding it hard to cope with the challenges life presents, perhaps, anxiety and stress, relationship issues, loss and bereavement, depression or sadness. I also work with people who are struggling in their work or career. Sometimes my clients feel overwhelmed and seek opportunity to offload, sometimes they want to dig deeper in order to gain some insight into their lives with a view to making changes. I offer both individual and relationship counselling.
Sessions are 60 minutes.
My approach is to listen carefully in a non-judgemental way, to understand you, and to help you to find ways to be happier and more satisfied. It's not my style to sit quietly and nod, but to be part of the process as you figure things out and make good decisions for yourself. I hope you will find me accepting, engaging, and challenging where appropriate.
