I am an integrative counsellor, which means that I use a range of approaches, depending on what might work for you. This could include exploring immediate pressures you face, looking at how previous experiences are affecting you now, or focusing on ways to live a more fulfilling life.
You might be coming to counselling for different reasons – including because you’re feeling anxious, depressed or lonely, because you’re facing life changes, or because you’re struggling to deal with something in your past.
Whatever you’re going through, we can look at how you handle difficult situations and relationships, and what might help.
As well as being a BACP-registered counsellor, I have worked for mental health organisations for almost 10 years, including YoungMinds and the National Academy for Social Prescribing. I have also volunteered for Samaritans for many years.
Many of us find it hard to talk about how we’re feeling deep down, and above all I hope to provide a place where you can do this, in confidence and without being judged.
It can be hard to know if a counsellor or therapist will be a good fit for you. I’m very happy to have a 15 minute call where you can ask questions, with no obligation.
