I work predominantly with adults who have experienced trauma / negative life experiences which have impacted on their sexual functioning, mental health, emotional well-being and relationships. I offer both short and long term therapy for clients wishing to gain a better understanding of their lives and experiences and provide strategies and interventions to enable my clients to live the lives they want to live. I work with people who have sexual problems and who wish to achieve a happy and healthy sexual identity.
I am a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist with further training in EMDR, Psycho-Sexual Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Schema Therapy. I specialise in working with issues relating to trauma / negative life experiences and sexual issues. I offer a safe space to explore, understand and move on. I am warm and down to earth with a direct style.
I am empathic and non-judgemental, compassionate and open. I understand that accessing therapy can often be an anxiety provoking process and I endeavour to offer a service that is welcoming and supportive and allows you to achieve your goals.
