About Me Are you struggling, pushing people close to you away? Have you been feeling rejected, let down or abandoned. Have you noticed an unhealthy pattern in your relationships? Adapting to a diagnosis? As an Accredited Person-Centred & CBT Therapist (BACP Acc.), a Certified Schema Therapist (ISST) with experience in working with C-PTSD, attachment issues, & autism. I can help break this pattern. My training includes: • Mentalization-Based Therapy for Families (MBT-F), DBT skills • CBT and Trauma-Focused CBT for PTSD (Anna Freud Centre) • ADOS-2 Assessment Training (Autism) • Motivational Interviewing (Tavistock & Portman)

As a certified Schema therapist I can help you understand the underlying motivation that gets you stuck. I implement a motivational & strength based approach, that is client led & works towards personal goals. I use CBT & DBT skills to work with unhelpful thinking & dealing with managing emotions. I am experienced in trauma focused work for PTSD.

Whilst it can seem difficult to commit to therapy, a safe non-judgmental and comfortable space where you can work on your strengths and be fully accepted can be a real turning point. The first step can often be the hardest but being able to talk about your problem can often help normalise your experience and work towards acceptance and change.

The interventions are dependant on the client's referral. For traum work I often use Schema therapy and DBT skills. The initial phases are based on coping skills and recognising the pattern of behaviour and triggers. Once established deeper work in relation to processing the trauma and emotionally healing will commence. Other interventions can be based around CBT and having a safe space to talk.
