About
Not everything is easy to explain with words or say out loud. Especially when it feels difficult and painful. The therapeutic space I provide is compassionate, gentle and encouraging. My aim is to ensure that you feel seen and heard whilst we work through your difficulties together through art making of your choice, decision and direction. My role in your therapeutic journey is to sit beside you and help to facilitate expression, reflection and insight as we unravel your story and experiences through art making.
Art therapy provides a safe space for difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences to be expressed creatively. It can provide people with a therapeutic opportunity to unburden themselves from the difficulties they are carrying through the mechanism of processing the difficulties through art making.
Once I have received your enquiry, we can schedule a consultation to discuss your main concerns, wishes and any questions you may have. We can work together to build a picture of how I can best serve your needs or the needs of a child or young person in art therapy.
