After completing a 28-day residential rehab program, Nathan committed himself to supporting those struggling with addiction. He founded the London Centre for Addictions, offering specialised treatment for substance use and sex/pornography addiction. A passionate advocate for destigmatising addiction, he frequently speaks at national and international conferences, focusing on innovative approaches to pornography addiction. Nathan trained under the late Dr. Thaddeus Birchard, a pioneer in UK sex addiction treatment, and is currently mentored by Dr. Alex Katehakis, a leading U.S. expert. Together, their influence inspired Nathan
to develop the neurobiologically informed Integrative Approach for Treating Sex Addiction (IATSA) model. He also trains clinicians through workshops, enhancing their ability to treat sex and pornography addiction effectively. Pursuing a professional doctorate in compulsive sexual behaviour disorder, Nathan consults for treatment centres across the UK
and Europe. He contributes academically by guest lecturing at universities and speaking at key industry events. He is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity (ATSAC).
