About
Pregnancy loss and Birth trauma therapist. I am a qualified and experienced Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with a Post graduate certificate, Diploma and Msc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I am also a qualified Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner. I specialise in supporting individuals who have ( but also whom have not) received infertility treatment and have sadly experienced a traumatic pregnancy loss or birth trauma. I help the people I see to process their trauma and emotionally prepare for their next pregnancy attempt. For more details please see my website www.natashawilliamstherapy.co.uk
I use CBT, EMDR and other various counselling / therapeutic approaches which are approved by NICE and are considered as the most appropriate treatment approaches to treat PTSD, trauma and anxiety. I believe my approach is client focused. I am a warm, caring, empathetic and genuine individual, which contributes importantly to the therapeutic relationship.
Looking for a therapist is no easy task. This is something I completely understand and believe that building up a therapeutic relationship is as important as completing therapy. I also believe that you are the expert on you, and so I am here to help guide you on your path / journey of change.
