I am an integrative transpersonal counsellor. The unique element of this counselling is that we will encompass mind, body and spirit in our work together, in a holistic way. It’s a talking therapy but we can also use experiential exercises, visualisation and guided meditation. I sometimes use art and other creative techniques within therapy, which can help us access the parts of ourselves that talking alone may not reach. Most importantly, I offer you a safe, warm, empathetic & non-judgmental space in which to talk, to be heard and to be helped. Before training as a therapist, I worked in the City as a banker and lawyer.
My style of counselling is gentle & compassionate. We won't be trying to ‘change’ or ‘fix’ you, but to make you the best & most comfortable version of yourself. To discover or reclaim the elements you would like more of in your life – be it relief from anxiety, peace, serenity, motivation, or the things that you are looking for.
We're going to find you a way through depression, anxiety disorders & stress. You may not be sure what's bothering you but want to explore thoughts & feelings of 'stuckness', of losing a sense of who you are or meaning in your life at this time. Counselling will give you a safe & non-judgmental space in which to do this, with empathy, experience, compassion.
