Creating a safe and secure environment is paramount, enabling children the freedom to explore at their own pace is so important. My primary aim is to first build upon a trusting therapeutic relationship. It is through this foundation, I believe, that will path the way to the child growing emotionally. I will seek to build their confidence, helping them to believe in who they are and knowing that they have the tools in which to help themselves.
I have over 20 years of experience in working with vulnerable children and their families. I recognise the importance of teamwork and value the vital role in which the caregiver plays. I hope that through this intervention we can come together in seeing these children grow and develop.
I have a deep passion in helping children to discover things that are perhaps stopping them from moving forward in the areas of their life. Walking alongside children on this journey is a privilege. As a therapist, I hope to guide children as they process their internal feelings and start recognising their own needs.
