I am a qualified counsellor and couple and relationship psychotherapist, with over 1,200 hours of counselling practice, working with individuals, couples and other forms of relationships. I work with all types of clients. I particularly specialise in anxiety, depression, anger, chronic pain, loss and bereavement, stress, trauma, cultural distress, self-esteem, confidence, including sexual confidence, as well as all types of relational issues.
Also, I work with all types of relationships, including LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse clients, and with couples where one or more partners experience mental health difficulties or neurodivergence.
My work draws on a range of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, psychodynamic therapy, humanistic and existential approaches, transactional analysis, as well as hypnosis and Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT). This enables work with both conscious processes and underlying belief systems, supporting meaningful and lasting change.
I believe that each client is unique and provide a warm, non-judgemental and reflective therapeutic space. I have particular strengths in active listening, emotional attunement and adapting sessions to individual circumstances.
