I am committed to supporting those experiencing mental health difficulties, and have experience working with a diverse range of clients including children, adults and older adults. I am passionate about creating a safe and non-judgemental space to help my clients to understand their difficulties and how they can make changes to improve their mental health and wellbeing. As a HCPC registered Chartered Clinical Psychologist with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I have worked across various settings including community, inpatient and specialist services in the NHS.
I utilise therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) to support people experiencing Depression, Trauma, Psychosis, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), as well as those struggling with perfectionism, self-criticism, low self-esteem and relational difficulties.
In particular, I am passionate about ensuring my practice remains accessible to those from diverse backgrounds and continue to adapt sessions to accommodate those with neurodiversity including ADHD and ASD, as well as those with additional cultural or religious needs.
