I offer long and short term therapy with a specialism in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community. I have a strong belief that people should be able to define life on their own terms and find their own meaning. I am interested in helping clients examine what can get in the way of that, whether it is personal history, external pressures, feelings of shame, or expectations of what is and isn’t normal. I want to help you discover what is important to you. I believe that we all are doing the best we can within the environment and resources available to us.
I set up Nat Creighton Counselling with a focus on providing safe, inclusive, accepting and LGBTQ+ knowledgeable counselling. Many of my clients also experience neurodivergence & neurodiversity and I am on an ongoing journey of training and self-education to make sure my practice is safe, flexible and inclusive.
The first step in accessing help can be the hardest, particularly if you have been used to dealing with things by yourself or have some uncertainty about how it all works.
