Hello, my name is Naomi. I am a professional, qualified Counselling Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor, accredited with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space to approach any concerns you may wish to address. I am here to support you in gaining awareness of what may be behind your difficulties, exploring your needs and potential goals. It may be that you are unsure of your exact reasons for seeking counselling and this is perfectly normal. Together we can unravel and work towards what it is you may like to be different.
My training is based on Transactional Analysis, which takes into account the way we relate to ourselves, others and the world – what drives us in our thoughts, feelings and behaviours, as well as what may be preventing us from moving forward or making change.
There are many types of therapy and it is often confusing trying to decide which may be most helpful to you. However, I feel the most important factor is whether we can work well together. You are the expert on you. I am interested in learning about you, supporting you and helping you find the path that relieves your distress and is most empowering for you.
