I work with individuals, couples and whole families. I see clients who are facing a range of difficulties or stressors including relationship distress, transitions, mood and anxiety symptoms and the impact of adverse experiences.
I have a particular interest in the adolescent-stage of the life cycle and its unique impact on family life. I am passionate about helping parents and caregivers to be a supportive and healing presence for their child(ren).
In my NHS role I specialise in working with adolescents, using NICE-approved therapy to reduce depression symptoms and support with emotion regulation.
In working with couples I have an interest in emotion-focused approaches to relieving distress, improving communication and enhancing trust.
I offer a warm and supportive therapy space, where we will work together to make sense of what is going on for you, your relationship or your family. I will listen carefully to you and share some ideas and reflections with you when this is helpful. We will agree on goals or a focus for therapy and regularly review, and I welcome your feedback.
