A warm welcome. It is my hope to be a compassionate companion offering you a safe and confidential space where you can be truly heard; where, together, we can gently explore the issues that have brought you here. Maybe you are coping with a bereavement or are having relationship difficulties. Maybe you are struggling with anxiety or depression. Maybe you would like to try and make some sense of an upsetting or traumatic experience. Maybe you can’t quite put your finger on it, but something just doesn’t feel right; you feel a little lost or stuck. Whatever has led you here, therapy can help you make positive changes and live well.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist working with adults (18+) in central Halifax. My approach is non-directive, meaning I won’t give you advice or tell you what to do, but will support you as we explore your choices, empowering you to make your own decisions so you can move forward in a direction that is meaningful to you.
Life can sometimes be tough and we all struggle from time to time. I know how challenging that can be and the courage it takes to reach out for help. Ups and downs are part of life but things don’t have to stay the way they are and you don’t have to go through it alone. Together, we can try and make sense of the challenges you are experiencing.
