I am a qualified Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist (MA). I work with children, teenagers and adults. I work in Primary and Secondary schools and a charity. My integrative approach draws from a range of therapeutic models, meaning that I tailor the therapy to each young person's needs. I love meeting young people and finding unique ways to relate to and support them. Using play and creativity as well as talking, I follow the child or young person’s interests, which helps me connect with them wherever they are developmentally. I have experience working with anxiety, low mood, trauma, identity issues and neurodivergence and more.
I work in an attachment-focused, relational way, meaning that the therapeutic relationship enables me to understand the young person’s relationships with others and how they have learned to adapt to the world. In addition to committing to work on what they are struggling with, I believe it is also important to celebrate and build on what is going well.
In a confidential and supportive space, we can begin to untangle feelings of stress, uncertainty, or tension, which helps to feel more hopeful and see a path forward. I value each person’s individuality and welcome all forms of difference and diversity. Your experiences matter, and I am here to support you on your journey.
