My great passion in my job is bringing healing to people who have been through a traumatic/stressful experience, helping them to find a healthy perception of themselves. The psychotherapeutic relationship is a safe and creative space that enables you to explore yourself and your relationships with other people, and various other aspects of your life without feeling judged. Psychotherapy helps you to better understand your past experiences, but it doesn't always have to be focused on your past. It often explores how you feel, here-and-now, and the ways you can bring more vitality, creativity and happiness into your life.
My approach is based on the transactional analysis theory, that I integrate with CBT and Art Therapy techniques. My multi-cultural experience with different cultures and religions, led me to develop a particular sensitivity towards different backgrounds, believes and lifestyle, which creates a more comfortable therapeutic setting.
One of the aims of therapy is to help you feel more authentic and comfortable with yourself. This is done by slowly finding ways to feel, think and express yourself. You will be able to recognise your strengths as well as the shattered pieces of yourself, and gather them into coherent stories about who you are and where you want to take yourself further.
