Having trained and worked in the NHS for over 10 years, I founded The Lotus Psychology Practice with a vision to provide mental health care that is accessible, individualised and evidence-based, to ensure the most effective results, personalised to you. I worked in research at a range of national and international universities, including Cambridge University and Harvard Medical School, before undertaking my doctorate training at University College London. Alongside my private clinic, I work in the NHS as the Lead for the Child and Adolescent Harmful Behaviour Service across Oxford and Buckinghamshire.
I have substantial experience working across a wide range of NHS settings, including adult mental health services and child services. This includes specialist adult neurology, adoption and fostering teams and the national attachment and trauma team at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
As a therapist, I takes an open, compassionate and collaborative approach to work towards your individualised goals. My therapeutic work is grounded in theory and informed by the latest evidence-base, in adherence with the NICE guidelines. I am trained in Expert Witness work for the Family Courts, Autism assessments and cognitive assessments of learning.
