I am experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist and psychologist, registered with British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have extensive experience and skills in working with psychological and emotional problems in the NHS and other settings. Alongside my private practice, I am also a lecturer and teach counselling to university students.
I offer short-term, long-term and open ended therapy to adults who have a variety of concerns including stress, anxiety, bereavement, relationship difficulties, affective disorders, depression, OCD, bereavement, sexual difficulties and others.
My approach aims to provide a safe and trusted space, respectful of one's capacity for personal growth. I offer a safe and confidential treatment setting and seek to facilitate therapeutic progress towards healing and living a more fulfilling life.
Research on psychodynamic therapy shown it provides long-term results that last years after treatment ended.
You don't need a clearly defined problem to consider therapy. In the initial meeting, we will have an opportunity to talk about what you would like from therapy, your reasons for seeking help, and whether it would be helpful to meet for a follow up session to establish whether you feel that you would like to undertake therapy.
