Art Psychotherapist with ten years’ experience of working with Children, Young People and Adults. I have a strong belief in the transformative role of creativity in healing our most difficult thoughts, feelings, and experiences. As a client, you are able to direct the sessions and gain agency in your healing process through creative expression. Art therapy can be helpful for a wide range of difficulties, and you do not need any prior experience of making art.
Art Therapy can be helpful because it offers a non-threatening way to express difficult thoughts and feelings. The art making process can provide containment for the safe release of emotions. This enables individuals to gain insight into the root of difficulties and old patterns of relating, providing opportunities for growth and repair.
My role as the Therapist is to support, guide and facilitate growth in individuals by developing a safe and containing therapeutic environment. We will work together to address your needs, help you to feel safe and develop practical tools that will help to regulate your emotions.
