About
Welcome to my clinical practice. I'm Dr Miriam Lobo, a Brighton and Hove- based Senior Clinical Psychologist. I provide psychological assessment and therapies for children, young people and adults across the majority of mental health issues. I am committed to working with all types of clients including children and teens. I have many years of experience of working with most mental health issues, anxiety conditions, depression and longer term conditions across the life span and children and families. I have a special interest in Autistic Spectrum Conditions, anxiety, longer term conditions, birth trauma and health related issues.
I offer individual psychological therapies tailored around your needs, around your concerns, your clinical history and personal difficulties. When working with children and young people I find it important to get a good understanding of their passions and that therapy is adjusted and tailored to their developmental needs and goals.
My approach is that therapy should be a special space to explore your personal stories and create positive changes. It should help with getting through the daily struggles on modern life.
