You may be a woman who is struggling with depression, relationship problems, anxiety, low self-esteem, or simply a sense of emptiness. You may feel trapped in, or emerging from, an abusive relationship. You may have experienced a loss recently- death of a loved one, divorce, loss of a job, even ageing poses its own special challenges. I specialise in working with women in particular, including LGBGT clients, by telephone, video link, and online. I am able to be flexible in the way I work, and combine different methods to suit my clients. Working by telephone or online can be very helpful to clients who are unable to travel.
I am an integrative counsellor, trained in Psychodynamic psychotherapy. I also have training in other areas such as coaching, CBT, creative therapy, and mindfulness. I have experience working empathically with women of all ages, and with many different issues, adapting to suit my clients. Co- dependency and counter-dependency are amongst my specialisms.
Sometimes you feel trapped inside your own life, overwhelmed by your feelings and with a sense of powerlessness. External pressures can make you feel even worse- you somehow feel you should be different. I will never judge you- I know making changes can seem almost impossible. I will help you find your own strength to deal with what you experience.
