I work with couples in crisis wanting to re-establish an emotional connection with each other, or perhaps repair and re-establish trust after an affair.
I also work with individuals experiencing high levels of anxiety and stress in their lives, relationship difficulties, late diagnosed ADHD, as well as people recovering from traumatic events, including narcissistic abuse.
I have a specialism in working with cross-cultural couples and expats (abroad and in the UK); I have first-hand experience, being part of a cross-cultural family and having moved from Italy to the UK as young adult.
One of a few in the UK to be certified by ICEEFT as Emotionally Focused Therapist for couples (EFCT) and individuals (EFIT). EFT is a very effective, evidence-based approach informed by attachment theory and is so successful in helping people become more aware of their emotional experience and get better at self-regulating and navigating difficult feelings.
I'm often the 'last chance' therapist that is parachuted into couples' emotional war zones to help them stop the conflict that they've been stuck into for years, the one that gives them hope that the relationship can be saved, that helps them reconnect and become more attuned to their needs and those of the people they love.
