What would you like to change? I am a highly experienced Counselling Psychologist and offer a warm, pragmatic approach to therapy in the belief that with the right help and support, we are all capable of making positive changes. I have learned from long experience, both my own and my clients, that one size can never fit all so have trained in a broad range of approaches including CBT, humanistic, emdr, schema therapy and ISTDP. I have many ways of helping you to understand your difficulties and tools for us to work together to change them. I am a big believer in the collaborative process. Therapy is something done best as a team
With 20 years experience working with adults in many contexts, in the NHS and privately, I am flexible, open and will seek to adapt to what you need. I can offer short term, more goal focused therapy to alleviate difficult symptoms but also a longer, in depth relationship to explore deeper, more entrenched patterns and traumas.
I'm available for a 15 minute chat to answer any questions you have about working with me. Sessions take place at my house in West Bath or online, usually weekly, sometimes fortnightly.
