Michelle Shively Harris
Counsellor, MNCS Accred
Therapy offers you the time, space and non-judgemental support that frees you to move on in life confidently, with more understanding of yourself and those around you. I have a particular interest in working with women and women's issues. These are some of the areas that people I have worked with have explored in their therapy: Improving relationships with others, increasing self-confidence, becoming less self-critical, overcoming overwhelming worry about things that might happen (aka anxiety), making peace with sadness and unhappiness because of events in the past (aka depression), feeling more able to deal with stress.
I'm a qualified, experienced therapist offering relational, integrative therapy, particularly interested in working with women. Over many years, I've learned that central to my work is a belief that given an environment of compassion, close attention and encouragement, we can heal past hurts and live more at peace in the present.
I provide a safe, calm space where you can talk in confidence about what's going on for you, identify what you want to change and then, together, we can help you achieve that. Give me a call for an initial phone or Zoom chat, free of charge,
