I know from experience how hard it can be to find mental health support for children and young people when they need it most. It can be a lot like hitting a series of brick walls and feeling powerless. It’s why I became a counsellor and why I work with young people. I offer a private and confidential counselling service for children (age 10+), adolescents and young adults suffering from emotional and behavioural difficulties. I can work face-to-face at my therapy space in central Reading, Berkshire. Or online by video or telephone. I also offer supervision to CYP counsellors and psychotherapists.
Let me help your child feel like themselves again. I use child-friendly and age-appropriate therapy techniques to help my young clients learn how to handle big feelings, overcome fears and adapt to changes or tough periods in life. Therapy techniques might include games, books, art and craft activities, and of course talking and listening.
I have been counselling children, adolescents and young adults for seven years, and have worked across a range of settings, including schools, colleges, counselling charities and privately.
