I am a qualified MBACP (Accred) member with a BACP qualification working within the BACP Ethical framework & a qualified clinical supervisor. My work is underpinned with qualifications in Health & Social Care, Children & Young People, Gangs, Anger Management, Criminal Psychology and a Bsc in Adult Mental Health Nursing. I work Integratively focusing on CBT, Motivational Interviewing techniques and Humanistic Approaches. Supporting a variety of needs to help enhance the quality of life of those I support to help build resilience. I am a member of the Accredited register for The Foundation for Infant loss & a MH First Aider Trainer.
My experience has led to work with organisations like The Priory in a rehabilitation and recovery service for females with complex Mental Health (MH) needs. I also worked for Springfield MIND, a national MH charity providing Intervention for Stress, depression, anxiety & much more, a Childline volunteer and MH Product Developer.
I'm aware of the complexities individuals can face and how it can impact on our emotions, interactions, and relationships. With this in mind I feel it is important to empower people to be at the helm of the support they receive, becoming autonomous and able to build personal resilience with the right support in place. In a safe and respectful environment.
