I am a qualified psychotherapist with an MSc in Psychotherapy. I am passionate about working with trauma, & welcome survivors of sexual abuse, rape, and domestic abuse. I particularly enjoy working with parents who are managing their trauma alongside their parental responsibilities and relationships. I also work within the MOD supporting military personnel with their associated trauma, and for a sexual abuse and rape charity. I provide a safe and non-judgemental space to explore thoughts & feelings around one's sense of who they are both to self, and in relationship with others.
My approach is integrative & relational, working in-depth on a mid to long-term basis with clients. I believe that one’s identity is altered as a means of survival, & the seeking out of what is authentic & what is a mask is difficult work which requires a care and softness. I am here to care for you in this unmasking process: we will do it together!
It's so often the case that the individuals I am privileged enough to call my clients are experiencing, for the very first time, putting themselves as a priority, after doing everything for everyone else for much of their lives.
