I am a Senior psychotherapist and Accredited Member of the BACP with over 23 years in practice and I now have a new therapy room in Great Shelford, on the outskirts of CambrIdge. I offer a safe and supportive place where the well-being of every client is paramount. You may be feeling “flat” or stuck or feel you are just existing. Counselling can help find new coping strategies, reflect on unresolved grief and loss, build awareness of your thoughts, behaviours and feelings and will help you develop more capacity to deal with the struggles you are facing.
I specialise in many different issues such as depression, anxiety and bereavement. I have a particular interest in identifying and treating stress and “burn out” over a broad range of professions, ie/ NHS, GP’s, teachers and the consequences of work/life related demands placed upon us. This in itself can be very challenging both physically and mentally.
Counselling will enable you to look deeply at current difficulties and to think about how the past may have affected you today. Gaining insight and clarity in a supportive and empathetic environment can bring about a sense of relief and along with this, will bring an improvement in your health and well being.
