Welcome. I am Michele. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals and couples with their emotional health. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My focus involves abuse, depression and narcissistic personality disorder, and the specific problems encountered by men, transgender people and women. An initial assessment meeting allows you to see if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy could assist you.
Psychodynamic therapy centres on the unconscious meaning of the issues you experience. It facilitates you in being conscious of aspects of your inner dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy aims to increase your self-comprehension to give you choices. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends counselling for depression.
Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the difficulties you face. It considers your ideas, feelings and significant moments in your history.
