About
I am a counsellor and psychotherapist with a diverse experience working with charities that supports the LGBTQIA+ and the East and South East Asian migrant communities. These experiences provides me with a deeper understanding of the complexity of mental health, mental illness and our capacity, as human beings, to grow and make meaning of our lives. We all go through personal struggles and some of us get lost in our painful thoughts and emotions which at times, manifest in anxiety and depression and counselling/psychotherapy is a space to support you find your way back and develop a better version of YOU.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and this means that I provide a reflective space for you which you can use as a tool to know your needs, to know more about yourself and your relationships. Furthermore, this reflective space is also an avenue for you to face your past in order for you to grow in the present and build a better future for yourself.
Life for most of us at the moment is challenging, I can relate to that, I get it. Most of us face pressures on an everyday basis and sometimes we just need to breathe and focus on ourselves and know what is really valuable to us. Reach out, come talk it out, figure it out but it takes you to do something about it. It is all up to you.
