I work with people who feel ready to address some kind of dis-ease in their lives, whether that is an anxiety, addiction, relationship question or stress-related physical pain. Many of these issues take time to address properly although people often experience relief relatively quickly. I worked as a teacher before becoming a psychotherapist, and still like the Greek word for teaching: pedagogy, which has at its heart the idea of accompanying. I accompany people in-person and online, on their journey; I rarely offer advice but work with people to help them understand themselves, what they want, and the best way forward for them.
I have a range of experience with both women and men, dealing with a wide range of issues. In my experience, the only real requirement for therapy is that the person seeking help feels ready to embrace the invigorating and frightening possibility of really meeting themselves.
