I work with men struggling with their mental health. I support people with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and suicidal ideation. I have considerable experience supporting people through conflicts within themselves and with others. Some indications that you're struggling may be poor sleep, feeling hypervigilant, mood swings, loss of a sense of purpose, increased interpersonal conflicts, and withdrawal.
When we aren't doing well, we simply want to feel better. I help you work through your experiences and your thoughts and feelings so that you get to where you want to be and feel how you want to feel.
I provide professional guidance and support, helping you understand yourself and perhaps even see things in new ways. I use techniques to help you calm distress, process the past, and strengthen your inner resources.
My thinking is mainly psychodynamic. I link the 'now' with unconscious processes, formative relationships, and relational patterns.
As a qualified professional, I offer insights and informed ways of understanding what people go through in life. Therapy can feel like a big investment in yourself but as I see it, we have only the one life to live, so I believe finding some peace and confidence in ourselves is worth it.
