Hi, thanks for reading my profile! Life can be rubbish sometimes and I believe we can all benefit from talking therapy to help us along the way. Are you anxious, depressed, or struggling with relationships in your life? I offer an Integrative approach that uses a mixture of counselling modalities (CBT, Psychodynamic, and Gestalt), above all I am person-centred and seek to empower you to know yourself better and reach your goals.
At the start of therapy I seek to get to know you better and explain the approaches that can be used. I encourage you to identify which approach you feel best fits and can be flexible in how we work with these.
I believe I offer a safe, warm and genuine space for clients.I came to counselling late on after a 25 year career in the social care sector. I've worked mainly in mental health, but also with people with learning disabilities, neuro-divergence, and substance misuse issues. I also have extensive experience of working with clients experiencing domestic abuse.
